What is CVE-2024-22457?
The Dell Secure Connect Gateway version 5.20 is susceptible to an improper authentication vulnerability in the update mechanism between the SRS and SCG. This flaw could enable a remote low privileged attacker to exploit the gateway by presenting a fraudulent self-signed certificate, thereby impersonating the server and potentially establishing unauthorized communication with the remote server.
