What is CVE-2024-23872?

A vulnerability has been identified in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0, stemming from improper encoding of user-controlled inputs. This oversight enables a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack through the 'description' parameter found in /cupseasylive/locationmodify.php. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious URL that, when accessed by an authenticated user, can lead to the theft of session cookie credentials.
