What is CVE-2024-23873?
A security flaw exists in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), specifically in version 1.0, where user-controlled inputs are inadequately sanitized. This oversight leads to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the /cupseasylive/currencymodify.php endpoint, particularly affecting the currencyid parameter. An attacker may exploit this issue by crafting a malicious URL that, when accessed by an authenticated user, can facilitate the unauthorized access and theft of session cookie credentials.
