What is CVE-2024-23880?

A reported vulnerability in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0 arises from inadequate encoding of user-controlled inputs. This XSS vulnerability is present in the description parameter accessed through the /cupseasylive/taxcodelist.php endpoint. When exploited, it allows remote attackers to craft malicious URLs targeted at authenticated users, potentially leading to the theft of session cookie credentials.
