What is CVE-2024-23882?

A critical Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability exists in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0, which arises from inadequate encoding of user-controlled inputs. This vulnerability is located in the /cupseasylive/taxcodecreate.php file, specifically targeting the taxcodeid parameter. When exploited, an attacker could craft a malicious URL that, if accessed by an authenticated user, could lead to the theft of session cookie credentials, thereby compromising user accounts and sensitive information.
