What is CVE-2024-23885?

A vulnerability in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0, allows for Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs. The issue arises from the handling of the 'countryid' parameter in the /cupseasylive/countrymodify.php endpoint. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, potentially allowing them to steal session cookie credentials, leading to unauthorized access.
