What is CVE-2024-23888?
A vulnerability exists in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0, where inadequate encoding of user-controlled inputs leads to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) exploit. This issue stems from the itemidy parameter via the /cupseasylive/stocktransactionslist.php endpoint. An attacker can craft a malicious URL that targets authenticated users, potentially enabling the theft of session cookie credentials, which can compromise the user's account and sensitive information.
