What is CVE-2024-23891?

A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. This flaw arises from insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs through the /cupseasylive/itemcreate.php endpoint, specifically in the itemid parameter. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious URL that, upon accessed by an authenticated user, can result in the theft of session cookie credentials, potentially compromising user accounts.
