What is CVE-2024-23893?
A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability has been identified in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0. This weakness arises from insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, specifically through the costcenterid parameter in the costcentermodify.php file. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, potentially allowing them to steal session cookie credentials, which could lead to unauthorized access and data breaches.
