What is CVE-2024-23894?
A security flaw has been identified in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0, that stems from improper encoding of user-controlled inputs. This vulnerability allows for potential Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, particularly through the /cupseasylive/stockissuancecreate.php endpoint, where the issuancedate parameter is susceptible. An attacker could exploit this weakness by crafting a malicious URL targeting authenticated users, potentially allowing them to steal session cookie credentials and impersonate users.
