What is CVE-2024-25575?

A type confusion vulnerability exists in Foxit Reader 2024.1.0.23997 related to the handling of Lock objects. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting malicious JavaScript code embedded in a PDF document. When a user opens the compromised file, memory corruption may occur, allowing for arbitrary code execution.
