What is CVE-2024-27282?
A vulnerability exists in Ruby versions up to 3.3.0 that allows an attacker to exploit the regex compiler by supplying specially crafted input. This exploitation can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information, including pointers and confidential strings stored in the heap memory.
