What is CVE-2024-30916?

A vulnerability exists in eProsima FastDDS versions up to 2.14.0 that allows local attackers to exploit the max_samples parameter in the DurabilityService QoS component. By crafting a malicious request, the attacker can induce a denial of service, potentially disrupting service availability and leading to the leakage of sensitive information.
