Transient DOS in Beacon Parsing with Non-Zero Tag Length

What is CVE-2024-33012?

A transient denial of service vulnerability exists in Qualcomm Wi-Fi products that occurs during the parsing of multiple Multi-BSSID Information Elements (MBSSID IEs) from beacon frames. Specifically, this vulnerability is triggered when the tag length is set to a non-zero value but is followed by the end of the beacon frame. This can potentially disrupt the service, leading to temporary unavailability of the affected devices.
