What is CVE-2024-33050?

A vulnerability exists in Qualcomm Wi-Fi products that can lead to a transient Denial of Service (DoS) condition. This issue arises during the parsing of Multi-BSSID (MBSSID) information when generating Information Elements (IEs) in beacon or probe frames. Specifically, the vulnerability is triggered when the length check for IEs is either missing or improperly implemented, potentially allowing an attacker to disrupt Wi-Fi connectivity by crafting malformed packets.
