What is CVE-2024-33525?

A Stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the 'Import of organizational units and title of organizational unit' feature of the ILIAS Learning Management System. This issue affects versions 7.20 to 7.29, 8.4 to 8.10, and 9.0. The vulnerability allows remote authenticated attackers, possessing administrative rights, to inject malicious web scripts or HTML content through the XML file upload mechanism.
