What is CVE-2024-35582?
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the Sourcecodester Laboratory Management System version 1.0, enabling attackers to inject malicious scripts through the Department input field. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a specific payload that, when submitted, allows execution of arbitrary web scripts or HTML on the targeted system. This can result in unauthorized actions performed on behalf of users, data theft, or further propagation of malicious content.
