What is CVE-2024-36332?

A vulnerability exists due to improper isolation of the GPU hardware register space, enabling a privileged attacker within a malicious guest virtual machine (VM) to gain unauthorized access to specific areas of the GPU's MMIO register space. This could lead to instability in the host operating system, potentially resulting in a reboot and creating a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
