An input validation flaw in the System Management Mode (SMM) handler of AMD products can enable attackers with Ring0 access to alter the execution flow of the S3 (sleep) wake-up process. This vulnerability grants the potential for arbitrary code execution by allowing unauthorized write operations to the System Management RAM (SMRAM).
