What is CVE-2024-37395?

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in the Public Survey function of REDCap version 13.1.9. This flaw enables authenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML into the 'Survey Title' and 'Survey Instructions' fields. If exploited, attackers could execute malicious scripts when a public survey link is accessed, potentially compromising user data. To mitigate this risk, it is recommended to upgrade to version 14.2.1 or later.
