What is CVE-2024-37396?

A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Calendar function of REDCap version 13.1.9. This security flaw allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML into the 'Notes' field of calendar events. When the calendar event is accessed, the injected payload can execute malicious scripts, potentially compromising user data and system integrity.
