What is CVE-2024-38446?
In NATO NCI ANET version 3.4.1, a vulnerability exists that allows users to alter the ownership of generated reports. This occurs when a user manipulates the UUID in a POST request, overriding the UI's imposed restrictions. As a result, unauthorized individuals can assume authorship of reports without the original author’s consent or knowledge, which could lead to data integrity issues and unauthorized access to sensitive information.
