What is CVE-2024-39125?
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Roundup software prior to version 2.4.0. This security flaw allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through manipulation of the HTTP Referer header. By leveraging this vulnerability, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of a user’s session, potentially leading to data theft or session hijacking. Users of Roundup are encouraged to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
