What is CVE-2024-39614?

A vulnerability exists in Django 5.0 prior to version 5.0.7 and Django 4.2 prior to version 4.2.14. The method get_supported_language_variant() can be exploited by attackers to induce a denial-of-service condition. This occurs when the function processes extremely long strings that contain specific characters.
