What is CVE-2024-39764?

Multiple OS command injection vulnerabilities have been identified in the internet.cgi set_add_routing() function of the Wavlink AC3000 M33A8 device. By sending a specially crafted HTTP request, an attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary commands on the affected device. This issue occurs specifically with the 'dest' POST parameter, allowing authenticated users to trigger the command execution, potentially compromising the security and integrity of the system.
