Permission Management Flaw in Tuleap Document Manager by Enalean
CVE-2024-39902
4.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2024-39902?
A security issue exists in Tuleap's document manager where the option to apply the same permissions to all sub-items is not respected, leading to potential unauthorized access. Specifically, the checkbox that manages this permission is always treated as unchecked, allowing users to retain editing capabilities for items they shouldn't have permission to access. This issue impacts only changes made via the web UI and not those made through the REST API. Users are advised to upgrade to the fixed versions of Tuleap to mitigate this vulnerability.
