What is CVE-2024-4298?
The email search interface of HGiga iSherlock, particularly in its components MailSherlock, SpamSherock, and AuditSherlock, contains a severe vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization of special characters. This shortcoming allows remote attackers with administrative access to perform command injection attacks, thus gaining the ability to execute arbitrary system commands. The potential impact includes unauthorized system control and compromise of sensitive data.
