5.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2024-44821?
ZZCMS 2023 suffers from a significant vulnerability in its captcha reuse logic found in /inc/function.php. The 'checkyzm' function fails to refresh the captcha value after a failed validation attempt. This oversight allows attackers to exploit the flaw by repeatedly submitting incorrect captcha responses. Through this method, they can potentially capture the correct captcha value from the error messages shown, compromising web security and user data integrity.
