What is CVE-2024-45969?

A vulnerability exists in the MMS Client of MZ Automation's LibIEC1850 that allows a malicious server to exploit a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw can lead to a Denial-of-Service condition when an attacker sends a specially crafted MMS InitiationResponse message, preventing legitimate users from accessing the service.
