What is CVE-2024-47005?
Sharp and Toshiba Tec multifunction printers provide configuration-related APIs that are intended for use solely by administrative users. However, a flaw in the implementation of these APIs results in insufficient restrictions, which allows non-administrative users to execute certain configuration APIs. This vulnerability presents a risk as it could lead to unauthorized access and modification of printer configurations, potentially impacting the security and operational integrity of the devices.
