DataEase JDBC Deserialization Vulnerability
CVE-2024-47074
What is CVE-2024-47074?
The vulnerability in DataEase arises from its handling of JDBC connection parameters. The PgConfiguration class within the software does not appropriately filter user inputs when connecting to PostgreSQL databases. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can append malicious parameters to the JDBC URL, redirecting the connection to a malicious PostgreSQL server. This manipulation allows the attacker to leverage a deserialization vulnerability inherent in PG JDBC, enabling execution of arbitrary system commands and potentially gaining elevated privileges on the server. Remediation for this issue has been implemented in version 1.18.25.
