What is CVE-2024-48634?

A command injection vulnerability exists in the D-Link DIR_882_FW130B06 and DIR_878_FW130B08 routers. This issue arises from improper validation of the key parameter in the SetWLanRadioSecurity function, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands through specially crafted POST requests. As a consequence, an unauthorized individual may gain control over the device, leading to potential exploitation of the network.
