What is CVE-2024-50405?
A vulnerability has been identified in the QNAP Operating System that allows for improper neutralization of CRLF sequences, also known as CRLF Injection. This flaw poses a risk by enabling remote attackers with administrator access to manipulate application data. QNAP has addressed this issue in subsequent updates, specifically in QTS version 5.2.3.3006 build 20250108 and later, and QuTS hero version h5.2.3.3006 build 20250108 and later. Users are strongly encouraged to update their systems to mitigate potential threats.
