What is CVE-2024-50699?
Multiple models of the TP-Link TL-WR845N router have been discovered to implement weak default credentials for the Administrator account. These weak credentials pose a significant security risk, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive configurations and features of the device. Users are strongly encouraged to change the default credentials immediately upon installation to protect their network from potential attacks.
