What is CVE-2024-51486?
The Ampache audio/video streaming application has a vulnerability in the interface section where users can manipulate the 'Custom URL-Favicon.' This area is susceptible to improper input sanitation, potentially allowing attackers to inject executable JavaScript code. The issue has been resolved in version 7.0.1, and users are strongly encouraged to update their installations. Currently, there are no workarounds for this vulnerability.
