What is CVE-2024-51750?
A vulnerability in the Element Web and Desktop clients allows a malicious Matrix homeserver to send malformed messages over federation, disrupting the rendering process. This can lead to either the failure to display individual messages or prevent the entire chat room from being rendered properly. Users are encouraged to update to Element Web and Desktop version 1.11.85 or later to mitigate this issue.
