What is CVE-2024-52002?
Combodo iTop, a web-based IT Service Management tool, contains multiple URL endpoints that are vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). This vulnerability allows an attacker to trick authenticated users into executing unintended actions on behalf of the user within the iTop application, potentially compromising the integrity of user data and the overall IT management environment. To mitigate this issue, all users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 3.2.0, as the previous versions are susceptible to such attacks. There are currently no known workarounds available, making the upgrade essential for maintaining a secure IT service management framework.
