What is CVE-2024-52333?
A vulnerability exists in the OFFIS DCMTK 3.6.8 due to improper array index validation in the determineMinMax functionality. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit the system by delivering a specially crafted DICOM file, which can result in an out-of-bounds write. Such exploitation poses significant risks to data integrity and application stability.
