What is CVE-2024-52526?
A Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability exists in LibreNMS, an open-source network monitoring system, allowing authenticated users to insert arbitrary JavaScript through the 'descr' parameter in the 'Services' tab of the Device page. This flaw can lead to malicious code execution in the context of other users' sessions, which may compromise their accounts and allow unauthorized actions. The issue has been addressed in version 24.10.0.
