What is CVE-2024-52601?
The iTop IT Service Management tool has a security flaw that allows users with portal access to read sensitive objects without authorization. This vulnerability arises from an unprotected route that does not adequately enforce access controls. Users can exploit this to gain visibility into data they should not normally access. The issue has been addressed in versions 2.7.12, 3.1.3, and 3.2.1, which contain necessary patches to secure the affected functionality.
