What is CVE-2024-5339?
A critical vulnerability exists in the Ruijie RG-UAC network management system, specifically within the /view/vpn/autovpn/online_check.php file. This flaw allows for OS command injection through the manipulation of the 'peernode' argument. As this vulnerability can be exploited remotely, malicious actors could execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of affected devices. Despite early disclosure attempts to Ruijie Networks, the vendor has yet to respond. Systems running Ruijie RG-UAC versions up to 20240516 are particularly at risk, necessitating immediate remediation steps to protect against potential exploitation.
