What is CVE-2024-53963?

Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.21 and earlier are susceptible to a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that enables low privileged attackers to execute arbitrary code within the victim's browser session. This exploit involves the manipulation of a DOM element via a specially crafted URL or by inputting malicious data into a vulnerable page. Attackers can successfully deploy scripts that execute when the webpage is displayed, necessitating user interaction with the compromised link or page to trigger the attack.
