What is CVE-2024-55072?

A Broken Object Level Authorization vulnerability in the Hay-Kot Mealie's /api/users/{user-id} endpoint enables authenticated users to improperly modify their own profiles. This flaw allows users to escalate their privileges by granting themselves additional permissions or altering their associated household information, thereby undermining the integrity of access controls within the application.
