What is CVE-2024-55238?

The OpenMetadata product version 1.4.1 and earlier has a vulnerability that allows attackers to exploit SQL Injection through the WorkflowDAO interface, specifically in the listCount function. By manipulating the workflowtype and status parameters, an attacker can craft a malicious SQL query that may lead to unauthorized information extraction from the underlying database.
