What is CVE-2024-55660?

The SiYuan Knowledge Management System, prior to version 3.1.16, has a vulnerability in its /api/template/renderSprig endpoint that exposes it to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) via the Sprig template engine. This flaw allows attackers to execute arbitrary code and access sensitive environment variables. Fortunately, version 3.1.16 has introduced a patch to remediate this weakness, ensuring enhanced security and protection against such exploits.
