What is CVE-2024-55889?

A security flaw in the phpMyFAQ web application prior to version 3.2.10 allows privileged attackers to trigger unauthorized file downloads on a victim's device. This can be achieved through the embedding of malicious content in an element, which executes automatically upon the user visiting the affected page, bypassing the need for user interaction or consent.
