What is CVE-2024-5670?

The web services in Softnext's Mail SQR Expert and Mail Archiving Expert suffer from inadequate validation of user inputs. This security flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server remotely. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow malicious entities to gain unauthorized control over affected systems, leading to potential data breaches, system compromise, or further exploitation.
