What is CVE-2024-56829?

The Huang Yaoshi Pharmaceutical Management Software, specifically version 16.0 and earlier, is vulnerable to an arbitrary file upload flaw. This vulnerability occurs due to improper validation of the file name in the UploadFile element within SOAP requests. Malicious actors can exploit this weakness by sending a crafted HTTP request that includes a .asp filename, leading to the potential upload and execution of malicious files on the server.
