Improper Access Control in WeGIA Product by WeGIA
CVE-2024-57032
What is CVE-2024-57032?
The WeGIA application prior to version 3.2.0 contains an improper access control vulnerability in its password management system. Specifically, in the file controle/control.php, the application fails to properly validate the input for the old password. As a result, attackers can exploit this weakness to change a user’s password without knowing the original password, simply by providing arbitrary values in the 'senha_antiga' field. This could potentially allow unauthorized access to user accounts, thereby compromising the security and integrity of sensitive user data.
