What is CVE-2024-58287?

reNgine version 2.2.0 is susceptible to a command injection vulnerability found in the nmap_cmd parameter, part of the scan engine configuration. This flaw enables authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the server by manipulating the nmap_cmd parameter with malicious base64-encoded payloads. Such an exploit facilitates remote code execution, potentially compromising the integrity of the system and sensitive information.
